Frequently Asked Questions

Find instant answers about managing your boutique storefront, listing outfits, setting up WhatsApp inquiries, custom store URLs, and account security.

Products & Catalog Management

Yes. You have full control over your product listings. From your Vendor Dashboard → My Products tab, you can click the trash icon next to any outfit to delete it. Deleting an outfit immediately removes it from your public storefront and search results.

To make sure buyers find your outfits easily, categories are organized into 3 tiers:
  • Tier 1 (Main Category): Broad department (e.g. Women Ethnic, Men Ethnic, Jewelry, Bags).
  • Tier 2 (Sub-Category): Outfit type (e.g. Lehengas, Sarees, Sherwanis, Necklaces).
  • Tier 3 (Specific Type): Detailed style (e.g. Bridal Lehengas, Banarasi Sarees, Kundan Necklaces).
When adding a product, selecting a Main Category automatically reveals relevant Sub-Categories without page reloads.

You can select up to 2 items per category level (Max 2 Main Categories, Max 2 Sub-Categories, Max 2 Specific Types). At least 1 category must be selected for visible tiers to ensure clean catalog navigation.

You can tag your products with 9 specialized luxury attributes: Color, Size, Fabric/Material, Craft Work, Occasion, Fit Silhouette, Sleeve Type, Neckline, and Jewelry Material. These attributes power buyer search filters across the marketplace.

Yes! You can choose your listing type:
  • Rent Only: Set rental price and refundable security deposit.
  • Purchase Only: Set direct retail sale price.
  • Both (Rent & Buy): Allow customers to choose between renting or purchasing the outfit.

Yes. You can upload high-resolution product photos and video clips (MP4/WebM). Video previews auto-play on hover in the masonry gallery on your product page to give buyers an authentic view of the fabric movement and embroidery shine.

A Vendor Note is a custom message displayed prominently on your outfit's page. You can use it to specify custom fitting availability, dry cleaning instructions, alteration timelines, or local pickup guidelines.

Storefront & Custom Branding

Yes! In your Vendor Dashboard → Store Settings tab, you can define your custom store slug (e.g. my-store). Your public storefront web link will be https://nidhiswarup.selleros.in/store/my-store/.

Store URL slugs must be between 3 and 25 characters in length. They accept lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), hyphens (-), and underscores (_). Real-time availability checks ensure no two vendors share the same store URL.

Go to Vendor Dashboard → Profile. Under Profile Picture and Cover Image, click file upload to select images from your device. Recommended cover banner dimensions are 1200×400 pixels.

Yes. In the Profile tab, you can enter your full physical address, city, and Google Maps URL. Buyers visiting your boutique storefront can view your location and click to open directions directly on Google Maps.

No. Internal account usernames (user_login) are strictly hidden from the public front-end. Store URLs use your custom public store slug on the dedicated /store/ route.

WhatsApp Inquiries & Customer Contacts

Each of your product pages features a high-converting Inquire on WhatsApp button (on desktop and sticky on mobile). When a buyer clicks it, it opens WhatsApp with a pre-formatted message containing the outfit title, SKU code, and direct link.

Yes. When adding or editing an outfit in your dashboard, you can toggle the "Enable Custom WhatsApp Inquiry Button" switch off to disable WhatsApp inquiries for that specific product.

Yes. While your default WhatsApp number is set in your Profile tab, you can specify an alternate WhatsApp number for specific products in the Add/Edit Product form (ideal if different boutique managers handle specific couture collections).

Yes. You can set a global Default Inquiry Text in your Profile tab (e.g., "Hello, I want to inquire about renting this outfit"), or customize the message text per outfit in the product form.

External Stores & Multi-Platform Sales

Yes! If your outfit is also available on your personal brand website or partner marketplaces, you can add External Store Links in the product edit form. These links display as elegant buttons on your product page.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

In your Vendor Dashboard → Analytics tab, you can monitor total outfit views, unique visitor counts, and WhatsApp inquiry click metrics to see which designs attract the most customer demand.

Account Security & Referrals

Login requires your Registered Email Address and password.

Go to Vendor Dashboard → Profile, scroll to the Change Password section, enter your current password, type your new password (minimum 8 characters with at least 1 number), and click Save Profile.

In your Vendor Dashboard → Refer & Earn tab, you can find your unique referral link. Share it with other designers and boutique owners to earn rewards when they register on NIDHI SWARUP.
